Abstract
Different protocols have been proposed in literature, in order to minimize the energy consumption. While minimizing energy consumption, all most, all these protocols also try to achieve high throughput and packet delivery ratio; and low end to end latency. All these protocols are for either of the two types of traffic scenarios, synchronous or asynchronous. There may be situations where the traffic pattern may change from synchronous to asynchronous or vice versa. This work aims to introduce adaptivity according to the traffic pattern rather than traffic load.
